Just got married. Tried to change my wife's last name in the contact's list on the Droid X, and it won't let me...it keeps reverting to the same old last name. Eventually noticed that each attempt was resulting in a new "linked contact". When I try to unlink all the contacts I get several with the correct last name but no contact information. If I completely unlink all contacts and delete all the "empty" contacts I find the name changed in her main contact, but not changed in her Facebook contact. Every time I try to link her main contact with her Facebook contact, the last name of the "combined" contact reverts to the last name in her Facebook contact.
I'm guessing that when she changes her Facebook profile, my Droid contact list will finally update; however, I don't understand why the Droid programmers won't let me set the last name of a contact to anything I want.
