so my bf and I are trying to find apartments, and in the 100 miles around where we live they are waaaay too expensive for someone making minimum wage full time. (I'm a student full time as well as taking a massage course) I can't pitch much in, so we decided to ask my friend, the only friend we have who could do this, and at fist he seemed all "gung ho" but now he's saying he can only pitch in $500 and for a 2 bedroom 1 bath that's not decaying that is not nearly enough (We could pitch in about $700 plus utilities) and he doesn't really seem all that interested any more. He's putting all the work on us and saying "if I like i I might move in." should we be over it and just look for a place on our own even though we would have to pay more towards rent? I've never tried to rent with someone who wasn't a bf so I have NO idea how it would work. He is a very clean and responsible guy which is why we even thought of the idea to begin with.
