Hello, I have a 1993 Yamaha XJ 600 Seca II. Lately, I've been noticing that the oil light has been coming on a bit more than often while warming it up (quicker, almost seems like it's too quick). Today, I needed to move it across the street to fix a cable so I started it up in choke and basically had the choke ride the bike across the street for me. When I got to the other side of the street, the oil level light was already on and I thought that was a bit weird. I looked at the indicator window and there was oil there. What I also noticed was that the oil was bubbly and there was a layer of bubbles on top of the oil in the indicator window on the crankcase. The engine is air-cooled so it's not coolant. Does anyone have any ideas???
The oil was changed about 400 miles ago with Yamalube 10w40.
I just noticed the petcock was in the position between reserve and pri (which i don't know what is). When I put it to the on position, fuel started dripping out. Are these issues related?
