BT HS for Nokia N73?

Posted this in the BT forum two days ago....no responses so thought I might try in the Nokia forum.

I'm looking for a new BT HS for my N73. What BT HS devices have people had success with, specifically with this phone?

Just a note....I've got the Plantronics 510, and the 645. The 645 loses connections sporadically, doesn't automatically transfer the voice to the headset when making or receiving calls, staticky, etc. etc. I have to re-pair the device way too much. Useless, IMO.

The 510 works 'sometimes' as advertised...decent range....good sound....but it doesn't always transfer the call to the headset when answering.....works mostly fine on outgoing calls. But, I was hoping for something with a smaller footprint (doesn't work too well for me with sunglasses....and I'm almost always wearing them, as I work 90% outside, or use while driving).

So, any recommendations? Nokia brand? BlueAnt? NextLink? ??? Not too concerned with price...... DSP nice, but not required.

Thanks in advance!

Try the Nokia bh-800 or 801, excelent performance and two of the most stylish headsets, you can even carry them as a necklace. Highly recommended!

I use this one with my N73 and it works flawlessly. Able to transfer calls back and forth between handset and headset. Voice Dial works in quiet situations and the DSP is fantastic. Used it in a noisy bar and the caller didn't know it or hear the crowd.

;8427481']i was looking at these headsets for my n73 as well, they look very stylish and small, which are both pluses

however i noticed there are a ton on ebay from sellers from china and other asian countries, at incredibly cheap prices too... which leads me to think that they are fakes... how can you tell? even some us sellers on ebay ship from china, i want to get one, and being asian myself, i know that there are ton of fakes on ebay lol

the nokias and the samsung wep200 seem to be the most popular ones to "fake" on ebay

Wirelessly posted (Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.0.6540/1558; en; U; ssr))

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions! I've got a couple of the recommended headsets on the way. Will choose the best & report back. Because of all the apparent fakes on ebay.. Didnt go that route for purchase this time.

I had the Nokia BH 800 and people had a hard time hearing me. It is a very stylish looking BT. Small, light and comfortable to the ear. But I had a hard time hearing others and vice versa. From what I heard the Sony Ericsson HBH-IV835 and HBH-610 are loud. I don't use BT at home, just the wired headsets. I'm using the Sony Ericsson BT Cars Handsfree HCB-100 and it's great. I can hear my callers loud and clear and they can hear me.
Just a suggestion for anyone looking for a BT Cars Handsfree.

I was also wondering this. But anyhting below 30 dollars for the bh-801 is fake, anything below 50 dollars for BH-800 is not necesarily fake, but I would be carefull.
These two a real BH-801, but neither comes with the neckstrap as they are OEM or taken from Nokia 8800 package :http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Nokia-BH-801-Bluetooth-Headset-Handsfree-Bulk-Pack_W0QQitemZ110068905631QQihZ001QQcategoryZ15040QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I had a BH-800 and I loved it. Although it was a bit low it was very comfortable. Lol unfortunately I've lost it somewhere and this is the second time that I've done that. So that goes to show you how small it is!
