Brothers Birthday Phone

Seeing as my bro has had the RAZR since it came out, he really needs a new phone.

I was thinking about getting him the 6126 from Cingular (ATT) but I dont know if that will be durable enough. He works at the airport so he drops them alot. Im surprised the RAZR lasted so long.

So I guess my Question is whether I should get him a nokia or SE or Moto, or what!!! What would you all say is the most durable Flip phone on the market right now? What is the most Durable phone out there all together, not just the flips?

I know its a stupid question but I just dont want to get him a phone that is going to break within a week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Well do you know the best carrier for where he will use the phone? Once you determine that, then pick the phone. Would be a shame to give him a paperweight.

I am working with Cingular, but it dosent have to be a phone that they specifically carry. Im not going into contract for a phone. I always buy phones from the internet, and a guy that imports them for me, but runs a smoothie cafe. What Im really looking for is the opinions of the users here that have durable phones and wouldnt mind stating that they use the crap out of there phones, and the phones still work great.

I'm not sure how durable it is, but the 6126 is one of the best phones I've ever seen. It looks good and S40 is great on it. It's much easier to use than the Moto OS.

Since you asked for the most durable flip phones, I would have to say the Motorolas provided for Nextel. You didn't state that it had to be either GSM, CDMA, or iDEN. But for durable GSM flip phones, that's really going to differ in opinion with each person. For me, I would have to go with either the Sony Ericsson Z/W710i or Motorola PEBL.

Thanks for the input guys. in response to the Technology question, we are and will always be on Cingular Att so it would have to be a GSM phone. Thanks.
