Sorry about your brother. Hope he has a quick recovery, physically & mentally.
Encourage him to get back on the horse as soon as possible! Best wishes

Sorry to hear about his accident, hope he recovers well ! They should have had that tree trimmed or removed and this won't have happened. It's bullsh*t getting that ticket !

Sorry to hear about your brother, I was in my own accident last week thanks to a minivan.. I"m sure he's banged up but I'm glad he will be ok

Hmm, so you're saying that because the sign was covered, he didn't know that if he's getting onto an interstate he shouldn't have common sense to yield anyway? Where do you people get your way of thinking from? Do you just enter an interstate onramp without looking? It's 100% his fault.

Who gives a shit if he should have known this or should have done that. Everybody screws up sometimes. Most of the time we just get lucky. Hope all is well with him.

A similar scenario last month here in mid-ga resulted in a fatality - glad your brother is going to be ok. I thought ALL entry ramps had at least a yield sign.

You are correct that he should have known and been aware of what the situation was and should have been more in tune with the merge so that is on him. But the local municipality still has a responsibility to keep their signs cleared as well. So yes he is responsible but so is the city/county/state for not performing proper maintenance on their roads.
