Brostrom Surgery

My daughter (13) is having brostrom surgery I am wondering what the recovery will be like. She also has a fracture in the growth plate. She is very athletic, when do you think she will be able to return to her sports? I also want to know possible side effects and what type of ansthesia will be used? If genreal ansthesia is used what will it feel like when she
