I know this is an asthma area but seems all my searchs about bronchial spasms came up with posts here and other stuff about asthma.
I do not think I have asthma, but guess its possible.
Last night I ended up in the emergency room after having my 3rd attack of chest pain over the last month or so. The pain felt like something that could be a heart attack! pain in chest and nurab/ache in upper left arm etc. I had a shortness of breath with these also. Would even get dizzy and it seemed to caused my Orthostatic hypotension to worsen(blood pressure drop upon sitting/standing).
They of cource did EKG and chest xray some sorta blood work up and declared me has having Bronchitis(acute) with bronchial spasms. I do smoke(~9 years 1 pack a day) but have never had bronchitis to my remeraberance.
I know feel ashamed for making my family take me to the hospital, but am still concerned wether the doctor was correct and/or just in a hurry to get my out(once they determined it wasnt a heart attack).
Any opinions/advice/information would be great.
