So my genius stepfather dropped my precious Sony Vaio desktop yesterday and there is now a black blob in the right hand corner and white lines running all the way down to the bottom of the screen directly under the blob. There are also blue lines to the right of this. I was told that this could mean he broken the lights on the inside of the computer and not the screen itself since the screen is not cracked at all from the outside. Did this happen to anyone else before and are there really some kind of lights inside or do I need to just look into replacing the whole screen itself?
