I brilliantly broke my key in the hatch back lock of my 1985 Dodge Ram Charger. My question is this: Is the code on the key just the type of key used for that specific lock or can I use it to get a replacement key? Is that even possible given how old my vehicle is?
Or will I need to completely replace the lock? My grandfather most likely didn't make copies or at any rate, I don't have them.
