Broken JetSet headset jack

Can I get this fixed even though I didn't pay for phone insurance?

The heaRABet jack on my phone is broken so it thinks there's always something plugged in. When I plug in a wired heaRABet it doesn't work either. I can't even activate speak phone.

I'm not sure how you'll fare with Cricket given the fact that you don't have insurance. But I know in my area there are a nuraber of cell phone repair stores that may be able to help with this type of issue. Can you pair with a bluetooth heaRABet in the meantime?

Yeah, I have one. Unfortunately it's in south suburbs right now, far away from me and I don't drive (my bf who does is out of town)...

your phone has a manu. defect. go to a corp. store when u get a chance.

Does that count as a manufacture's defect? Because I believe I did this to the phone. My headphones with adapter would get yanked out of the phone.

idk weak solder points could be considered a manu. defect, but, more likely dismissed as abuse. I have also tried to re-flow the solder on the jack itself with no luck, different phone, same issue. either way if you can fix easy like not stated, y not?
