Awwww that was VERY beautiful!! :D

And I love, love, LOVE the song "Home"

Thanks Shnicky for your response. No one had to answer my questions
if they didn't want to, so I appreciate it.
I guess I misunderstood the scene. Well, aside from the animal issues,
that was the only disturbing image in the movie (Jack getting beat up)...
so, I have even more reason to purchase this movie!

And I'll be voting for it as well!

I voted for Jake and for the two of them for best kiss. I really hope they win, especially for the kiss. I was surprised that it wasn't nominated for best picture, but I was happy it got the nominations it did. :D

Sorry for the double post but I thought I'd share them here.

Pictures from the MTV Movie Awards.

Jake won Best Performance and Jake and Heath won Best Kiss. Sadly Heath wasn't there, but Jake looks so hot receiving the awards.

Love this movie. All the performances were just amazing. I love Jake and Heath both, and I loved hearing interviews with them afterwards. They're just amazing.

I wish I read it earlier while it was still on shelves but if you guys can you should read the article in last weeks Entertainment Weekly (w/ Denzel and Russel). The article basically talks about how it's been two years and the success of Brokeback Mountain hasn't changed the world of cinema (gay films haven't been made). It also says that a week or so before the Oscars the screenwriters found out that they probably weren't going to win. It turns out a lot of the Academy voters refused to watch the film

 G your innocent mind was opened? Miss you girl.

Glad you liked the movie. It was a bit of slow in the beginning because the film is introducing/explaining how they became friends, then closer and then fall in love. :) I actually thought it's good thatthey showed that otherwise I'll think that it isn't love, just lust. You wknow what I'm saying? It's like it's their foundation for their strong connection.

I love it. Awesome girl.

I miss this thread so much. We used to be very active here. Where did everyone go?

Me and my friend rented this movie on Monday!!

I really enjoyed it, my friend - not so much lol

We both thought it was bit slow to begin :embarassment:, but it soon picked up after they DID IT!!! :thud: - was quite shocked at that actually, coz wasnt expecting to see any sex scenes, just smooching and hugging etc... But this scene made my eyes pop  :eyebrows: mmmm hehehe
