broadband cincinnati

I don't know about any release dates for data carRAB, but do y'all got EVDO already down in them parts yet with an EVDO PRL? I know I can get EVDO here in Dayton, and if Dayton has EVDO, I'd reckon it's safe to say that Cincinnati definitely has it by now.

I got an email saying it was now available in my area, only to have them retract their announcement only days later. I got all excited for nothing! :silly:

EVDO will launch in Cincinnati on October 21st. I will be selling the aircarRAB at a special discounted price.

$50 Instant rebate (not mail-in)
$25 activation credit on your 1st bill
So the cost will be $59.99 + $25 + tax out the door
1st month is free

This is a $75 savings if you pre-order.

BTW: EVDO is working in Cinci right now, but you need the correct PRL.

Are you referring to my earlier post? Because I've heard that Dayton and Cincinnati were getting EVDO "officially" at the same time, i.e., when WE get it, YOU get it, or vice-versa.

All I've heard so far is mid to late October.

It is officially launching here on the 21st. I'm picking up 50 modems on Friday.. (Did I mention that I have a special deal on them if you pre-order?)

I was told that launch date coincides with the launch of "several" cricket markets. I would assume that Dayton is included since they have had EVDO capabilty a lot longer than Cinci..

From an email today.............
