Ok, I'm writing a film script, and I need to include an iconic 100% British car. But I don't want Mini's or Rovers or anything average. I need something which could be considered a "British Muscle Car" or the British Mustang.
Initially I've been looking at something like the Ford Cosworth Capri Rs. So, if you have any ideas, let me know cheers.
Ok, sorry. I forgot to mention that Aston Martins already play a large role in my script. And the other cars you've mentioned don't really fall into what would be perceived as a muscle car.
I know that The Austin Healey and the TR-8 have large engines, but I'm looking for the whole package.
Try to imagine the typical American Muscle Cars; Mustang, Charger, Road Runner...then try to think if there was anything made in Britain that could compare.
The Ford Capri is the obvious one, but are there any others?
Also, sorry for being a pain in the ars, but I'm looking for something of a racing pedigree. Something with is institutionally British, but at the same time has gone down as a Legendary track or race car.
I realise that the car I'm looking for may not exist, but maybe there are some cars I don't know of just yet that would fit perfectly.
Cheers.
