BRITISH IGNORANCE, What do you think of my poem?

British Ignorance

My Britain. A country so manic,
The slightest news, the biggest panic,
Swine flu grips a paranoid nation,
Show your fear without hesitation.

Our problems are minor, how dare you complain,
In contrast, the starving do seem quite mundane,
Let's heap all blame upon Gordon Brown,
For now all our upset's do lie on his frown.

The credit crunch leaves a country blue,
If only they realised, If only they knew,
People are dying of hunger and thirst,
Surely it's them who should always come first.

A simple message I do plan to leave,
We have no reason to lie down and grieve,
The media lie, we should not listen,
Remember the Great, that comes before Britain.
