Brining food to boyfriends camp?

Im on a diet, would it be rude to bring my own food to my boyfiends camp this weekend? I need to stay in proper proportions. What do I do? Ive know them for 2 years and we get along very well
Yeah, like if i brought a salad for everyone or a veggie tray....its a camp, not a formal dinner right?
camping as in going to his cottage for the night
 
I don't believe so, no. As a matter of fact, it's much more considerate than turning your nose up at everything and saying that you can't eat it. I have food allergies that can actually kill me, so I frequently bring my own food to places. I just make sure I bring enough to share. I know others with dietary restrictions that are either medically necessary or by choice (gluten-free, vegan, etc). Indeed, it was one of them that gave me the idea!
