Bridge to terabithia

Yes it's well known for it's totally misleading trailers which make it look like a Narnia type film where is it is infact more of a teenage coming of age drama. The shock halfway through is quite unexpected and different for a film like this.

Killing off the girl. What a shock. Never saw that coming.

I saw it on the plane to America, don't think i'd have watched it otherwise but yeah it's quite a good film. I agree with what was said above about the trailers being slightly misleading though, but I guess that's where the money was gonna come from.

cried my eyes out watching this - the girl was brilliant

you know the woman wrote the book it is based on to try and explain death to her son as one of his frienRAB had just died

I watched this film last night. Wasn't expecting much, especially considering its a Disney film produced by a company that is known for making Christian friendly movies (Walden media).

But you know what, it's a very honest coming of age story for the 21st century. I might even go as far to say that it might become, in years to come, this generation's 'Stand By Me'.

Even Mark Kermode, who was initially critical of the film, has come out in the podcast as saying that the film is actually quite good. His initial negativity was about a certain lost of a character..... Which he felt wasn't right for the film.

I watched this film the other day thinking it would cheer me up a nice easy going kiRAB adventure film.

I was crying for 2 whole hours afterwarRAB. I thought both the main actors were fantastic which just made it so much worse when the twist came!

I thought it was going to be another Jumanji etc from the posters etc but it sure wasn't, turned out to be one of my fav movies of last year, saw it twice in the cinema and have the dvd
