I have a Motorola V3m that I bought off Ebay, that had previously been used with Sprint. I wanted to be able to use it with Metro PCS, so I downloaded RSD Lite v4.3, and used the MPC_V3M_01.1A.00R_PRIkk42423_MONSTER_01 monster file to do so. Part way through, the process stopped with an error having something to do with access to the RAM, leading me to believe that I had the incorrect monster file. I tried again, just to make sure that it wasn't a one-time problem. Now, the phone seems to not even be able to go into flash mode, with the RSD program hanging on setting the phone into flash mode, and then reporting that it cannot access interface handler. So basically, wrong monster file seems to have bricked my v3m. I have 2 other monster files I just downloaded, but they cannot be installed since the phone cannot advance beyond the interface handler error.
I have read forum posts in which it is stated that the phone can still be recovered after an error like this, but cannot find any further info.
If you can help provide a helpful, it would be much appreciated, preferably from someone experienced in this matter.
