This is my first time breeding betta fish, and i'm a little confused..
I have a male & female betta fish, and it's about the 4th day of breeding.
I've introduced them successfully, and they seem interested in each other. The male flares his fins out and chases the female, and she develops white stripes in her stomach. They only seem to be intimate when i place them into a smaller tank. The small tank, is very small. When i place them in my 10 gallon tank they don't really do much an wonder off on their own even though there is few distractions. I've also noticed that the female's white abdomen stripes re-appear and disappear, is this normal ? If anyone could just give me some advice, and steps that would be great!
