If you had a dog that was a mix between breeds that one parent breed had a good/friendly reputation, let's say a golden retriever, and one with a bad/scary reputation, like a rottweiler, what would you say when someone asked your dog's breed?
A golden/rott mix - tell everything?
A golden mix - so they aren't scared?
A rott mix - because you know that rotts aren't bad dogs?
A mutt - it's just easier than explaining?
If you have a mix of this type, I'd really like to hear your responses.
We have a lab mix and we're pretty sure he's 3/4 lab and 1/4 pit bull (don't know which type specifically).
Also - I know rottweilers are fantastic dogs. I'm just using them as an example. I also know that not all goldens are good. It's just to illustrate what I mean on "good reputation" & "bad reputation"
