Breather Tube on a Jeep Wrangler TJ, where does it go?

Ok, my breather tube came loose from where it is supposed to be connected to, I still have the male end attached to the end of it, just need to find the female end now. Can someone please tell me 'exactly' where it goes, or a better place to put it? Would zip tying it up high above the transfer case(about 3 feet off the ground) be good?

I'm going to a mud bog tomorrow I would like to know ASAP
