breaking dawn?

does anyone know if the fact that "the release date for breaking dawn august 12 has significant meaning? (maybe) following the usual time of TWILIGHT, there happens to be a NEW MOON, and a complete ECLIPSE, that night. that makes the next morning a BREAKING DAWN." actually was planned by stephenie meyer or her publishers? i found this out at http://twilightseriestheories.com/2008/05/book-news/it-will-truly-be-a-breaking-dawn but they dont know if its a fact or not.

I know for a fact that the actual release date is August 2, 2008 (my mom's birthday), not August 12. )
