For Christmas I got a new camera since I had been begging for one all year. My friend was over the other night and my mom saw my friend running with my camera. She scolded me and told me if I broke it I would never get another one, and a bunch of other stuff. Well, the next day the camera fell in water. We took the battery and memory stick out immediately and my friend and I tried to fix it, but then we both left (I went to another friend's and my friend went home). We disassembled it, left it to dry out over night, charged the battery, and more. We talked to a Sony analyst. I now have the camera sitting in a bowl of raw white rice. I think my camera is doomed. How do I break it to my parents? The analyst said it would be free to 91 dollars depending on what is wrong with the camera to fix it (it's under warranty). How do I tell my mom? I'm so scared and I hate the thought of disappointing her. I'm going home in a few hours. Are there any other ways to fix my camera, and how do I tell my mom I broke my brand new camera!? Please help me...
