You can also enter a photo and have that be all the evidence you need. You don't actually have to have the physical item there in court. Besides, I wouldn't even need the evidence anyway if that was the case... the mother tripped up her and her sons guilt right there in front of me and about three witnesses. Ain't life grand?

Still glad you got it back though. And sometimes stupid people do good things, even if it's not intentional (the mother providing evidence).
