That's what I'm talkin' about. I think the "sleeping Giant" is awakening . . . and he wants his cornflakes.

Then it's off to kick a** and chew bubblegum - and he's all outta gum. From the man who brought us REAL internal flash, only to have his customers threatened with warranty revocation by the company who now claims to have their own "pseudo-flash with hangups,"

www.brayder.com is back.
Go Brad! The adults are finally present! Oooohhhh, MAMA . . . let's see what trouble we can get into now! This is a "day-maker," for me folks . . .

Yeah!! I got an e-mail from Brayder and tried to go to the site, but saw it's under reconstruction. Not only that, but the beta forums are gone. I'm on the edge of my seat now!

You can get to MemoryJack and JackSprat/JackFlash here:
http://www.brayder.com/download/
even though the front page isn't working yet.

MemoryJack lets you use up to 256MB of a SD or MMC card as RAM in a non-NVFS Palm or Clie. Apps and data can be HotSynced as usual, and if your battery dies, a full restore takes typically less than half a minute because everything's on the card and MJ just has to recreate stubs in RAM.

Unfortunately for me, it doesn't work with the Tapwave Zodiac... but it will work on my "emergency backup" Tungsten E. (The only issue I ever had with the last beta was trying to AutoUpdate ePocrates; it never quite got all the way through the sync without crashing, and I think that's because the dynamic heap on the TE is only 2MB. Otherwise, everything ran fine.)

Interesting news - this is very similair to Garnet implementation. Only that you can have decent amount of real dynamic heap unlike cripped garnet devices (4mb only).
