Brand new pipes too loud for my old ears.

would someone please do this with a C90 so I can score on some new pipes?

:lol4: just joking,,,, but if anyone has aftermarket pipes for a 90 that's not working for them i really am in the market....:bluethum:
 
Is there a pipe brand out there that would sound deep on a C50 ?

I don't want the high pitch broken pipe sound, I want to get something that even if not too loud, but that it would idle deep...

Yesterday while parked at the downtown friday night free jazz concert, a harley sporter arrive and parked next to me, oh man, you could not beat the sound, and it was only an 883R with custom pipes, but they sounded awsome...

So I have two dilemas...

1. I love the look of the stock pipes and hate the look of the custom skiny tubes.

2. I would hate to pay $500 for a set of pipes that are going to give me the same hight pitch broken pipe sound as I would get from a debaffle pipe, what is the point of the investement...

Conclusion, I am not sure of a set of pipes out there that can make a C50 give a decent deep bark...
 
theres nothing much we can do to recreate the "harley" sound. its not about the exhaust.

at higher rpms I don't think you're going to get the deep sound of a big twin either.
 
I put Roadhouse 2 into 1's, and it is a nice compromise between the stock and the hard Kromes I replaced. It is definately a nicer deeper sound than the stock yet isn't as harsh to listen to at the higher RPM's. Also, the pipes are longer and the sound is behind you more than the HK's.
