Just had Hard Krome 2 1/2" American Classics with tips installed on my '06
C50. Also had a power commander installed. They sound great but too loud for my ear. My 600 mile service is coming up in the next couple of weeks and the'll be coming off. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll work out a good price and get them shipped to you. If you want I'll send you an audio clip and pictures to let you know how they'll sound and look on the C50.

Wow that's too bad Dave... it's not like you can just try out a set of pipes to see if you like them...

I keep going back and forth on aftermarket pipes but I really like the looks of the stock slash cuts.

hey,,,, anyone in the Seattle area have a C90 with aftermarket pipes? I'd appreciate being able to hear them in person????

:fight1:

Sounds like a good deal in the making. I got my Cobra Slashcuts the very same way. They were too loud for the original owner. Fortunately for me, he destroyed his stockers with a botched debaffle, so I simply had to swap my stockers for the Cobra's. It was a win win situation...

Why don't you just put some baffles in them? You can get a set of baffles from J&P Cycles, Cruiser customizing, or other aftermarket vendors for a few bucks. If they are still too loud, wrap some fiberglass muffler packing around the baffles one turn at a time until you tune the sound to what you like.

Ahhh, i'm just being a wuss.....I have to take the bike in this weekend for it's first maintenance....3 freakin days.....And the day i get it back those baffles are coming out!!

I called Hard Krome today, the baffles in the pipe are welded. They suggested that I have someone tack weld a washer on the end.

They're coming off............

How much are you looking to get for them? I'm having trouble finding anyone that feels comfortable with aftermarket pipes for a 07. This shouldn't be a problem being that they haven't changed engines right?
