...yes, that's right, on the way home from purchasing a new mazda 5 last week, i struck a huge racoon which destroyed the radiator, AC condensor & front end, totaling about $3500 in damage.
my question is this:
it is being repaired at a local mazda collision shop. can i be sure that they will bring it up to factory spec, use all original parts, paint procedure, and that the vehicle will be as good as new? i have voiced this concern with the shop & insurance rep handling the case...it has 100 miles on it, i have only had it in my possession for 30 minutes, and it is now in the shop for 2 weeks. unbelievable bad luck.
so i am worried that corners will be cut for profits by either the inurance company or the shop, and it will not be as good as new anymore, right from the get go.
anyone who has worked in a shop and has experienced this scenario would be great to hear from.
