I recently put together my own computer from scratch, everything is brand new, never been used. I have all of the connections connected, and when I plug the power supply into the wall, all of my lights on the motherboard turn on, and everything else.
However, when I press the power button on the front, absolutely NOTHING happens! No led light, no fans, NOTHING! Gaaa!
The power supply supports all of my wattage, it's a 750 PSU.
Specs:
Mobo: ASUS Crosshair II Formula
RAM: 8GB DDR2 (4X2GB)
CPU: AMD Phenom X4 955 (It fits perfectly in the socket)
CPU heatsink: Scythe Mugen-2
Graphics card: BFG Nvidia Geforce 9800GT
PSU: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3276567&CatId=2533
Case: http://www.xoxide.com/xoxide-alien-x-case.html
My Power supply supports all of my hardware wattage, absolutely for sure. I have checked more than three times that my wattage adds up, and it does.
