Brand New Bricked N71

Ok, so I got my N71 last night. Tried updating via NSU this morning. I now have a brick . I really wish I had seen all the posts about NSU before I tried using it. Nokia won't repair my phone here because it's not an model that's supported in the US.

Is there anyone I can send it to to get it fixed? I'm trying to overnight it like right now.
 
does it try to boot? like getting stuck on the nokia screen or won't power at all? you can try a hard format, hold * + 3 + green and power until it asks what country you are from. that is if it will try to boot. otherwise like said before iunlock. my e61 got messed up before and i had to send it away to iunlock, they are fast. if you overnight it to them and pay overnight back you will get it quick they fixed mine and shipped it the day they got it.
 
It's not booting up at all. No Nokia welcome screen. Nothing at all. Tried everything. I just overnighted it to iUnlock. The guy on the phone was very helpful. If it gets there tomorrow at noon do you think they'll have it out that day? I don't want to have to wait for after the holiday to get it back. Thanks for all the help though.
 
i sent mine to them and they received it at like 2pm and shipped it back out the same day. unless there is something totally screwed up they seem to be very quick. i sent my 6230 to them about a year ago and they did that one same day too.
 
they should now, its at their stores in NYC and Chicago....

they still wouldn't help me w/ my broken camera because even though the N71 is now sold in the USA I didn't buy mine from one of their USA stores....


I hate Nokia.....
 
I got an email today saying it had been repaired and will be picked up today. So hopefully I will get it tomorrow. I did select next day shipping. So I'm guessing by 3pm tomorrow. I will definately use them in the future.
 
Although many people have had good experiences with iunlock, I'm not one of them. Evan flashed my N73 to a test firmware after I bricked it and came out with Music Edition firmware less than a week later. He said he'd give me $10 off if I wanted my phone reflashed, and I'd have to pay with a money order. I still might after the holidays are over, but not right now. I wouldn't be so disappointed if I could fix the firmware myself, but the test firmware he put on my phone won't allow me to flash with Phoenix or NSU. I'm sure this is probably one of those case-specific incidents, but iunlock is definitely an absolute last minute choice for me from now on.
 
I just picked next day air. But I wrote a note asking for it to be delivered on Saturday if possible. I told them to email or call me if I needed to pay extra. I'm just going to pray it gets here tomorrow. UPS.com says it's been shipped.
