Okay so my brake fluid started leaking pretty badly and I was refilling it constantly. I haven't been driving the car because well I don't wanna get myself killed. But I had to drive it down the street the other day to move it out of the street and now the pads sound shot too, a really BAD grinding sound when I pushed the brakes. I'm sick over this because I KNOW that if it has to do with my brakes it will cost a fortune to fix. Does anyone know what might be causing this leak? Or how much it might cost to fix. It looks like it's coming from a small hose near the master cylinder.

Could just be a bad hose or connection. Only one way to find out - take it in for an estimate (which should be free from any reputable garage).
