brake problem 1983 dodge truck?

i have a 1983 dodge pickup truck its been siting in my driveway for 4 months started right up no problem there but when i took off i had no brackes to stop! 0

had to shut the angine off and drive around the block till it stoped ..


coworker told me to bleed the brakes did that works for a few seconds then i lose presure again.. i noticed that the brake fluid resavor cap was hard to put back dose the resavor have to presurice to work right?

i shraded the seal trying to put the cap on brakes pads are 9 months old dont use it much i have a Co truck its been siting in the snow for 4 months temp here is around 35"

dont know much about this could use some help
 
You can bleed your brakes all you want, that will never fix it. Your truck wont mysteriously get air in the lines. I would pull all four wheels and check the entire hydraulic system, you have a leak somewhere.
