BOYFRIEND WILL NOT STOP DISCUSSING OUR PROBLEMS WITH MY SiSTER!!!?

I am a really private person,when it comes to my family. I DO NOT LIKE MY PERSONAL PROBLEMS DISCUSSED and they all know and accept this. My boyfriend also knows this, as I have told him this tme and time again. We have even broken up over this before. When we have relationship problems he goes (behind my back) and discusses this with my sister. I have gotten extremely anger in the past and have told him never to do this again. Just recently, he did it again, giving my sister the details of what we were fighting about in OUR relationship. And he never told me. SHE told me!!!! Why does he continue to go against my wishes when I ask him to stop opening us up for scrutiney from my family? Why does he continue to go to my sister when we have fights????? It drives me crazy!!!!!!!!!!1

He may be looking for some insight, since she has known you her whole life, maybe he feels she is the best one to give him advice. On the other hand, maybe he is hoping she will talk to you "on the sly" and make you see things HIS way. I don't really know. The only thing I do know, is if you want a relationship with a man that won't discuss things with your family, then you are dating the wrong guy. You either have to accept that he is going to talk to her, no matter how you feel about it, or get a different boyfriend.

That is such a breech of trust! Tell him next time he does it..you'll tell someone close to him...see how he feels. then he'll stop.
