My boyfriend have never drove anything beside an old jeep his whole life. He has owned only two jeeps his whole life. One was destroy by a fire and other one, he have it for six years and just got in a crash a couple weeks ago which wasn’t his fault.
Since we just bought a new house a couple months ago, we’re tight on money. His grandfather who is paralyzed on one side by stroke about six months ago gave my boyfriend his 2006 Corvette. I was so excited about it, however I can see my boyfriend was nearly in tear and wanted to puke as soon as he sat in it!
Desperate of my effort to get him to keep the Corvette, I even offered to pay the difference in the insurance and the gas and everything. After just two weeks, he sold it for 35K and bought a 1976 CJ7 jeep for 9k and gave his grandfather rest of the money! His grandfather even tried to get him to buy a new car with the money, but my boyfriend refused!
Everytime I asked my boyfriend why he did this, he simply says he doesn’t feel right in anything that isn’t an old jeep. I even tried to talk to him about buying a normal comfortable nice car and keep jeep for off roading. He still refused.
Why does he feel like he must have a jeep?
