I went on a group date with my boyfriend tonight. After a movie, he said he'd be going downtown with the guys. He asked me if that was okay with me. I said of course I want to see you, but it's important to be with friends too. "He said, let's do this, I'll only be downtown for an hour. I only have money for a drink or two. Wait up for me and don't lock the door." Now, it's an hour and a half after he said he'd be home. I gave him a call. No answer. Frankly I think it's pretty disrespectful to expect me to wait up and not even give me a call or anything saying he'd be out later than he thought, not to mention saying he'd make this compromise for me and not following through. I also don't appreciate the unwanted stress of worrying about where he might be. How do I approach this?
We got in a very large fight the other day about something rather silly that was blown out of proportion. We made up over it, but I get mixed signals. He calls me to see if I want to hang out at his house, but now, he can't even shoot me a short text or call saying he'll be out?
It might be really a silly thing, but he promised me something and didn't follow through. How do I let him know that he's really let me down and get him to take me seriously? Thanks.
