i am 18 and hes 20, we have been together nearly 15 months, never been on a holiday together, but were supposed to go australia at the end of the year.. he was also supposed to ring me after work tonight, but he fell asleep and didnt bother to ring me, he came online at midnight, talked a bit, then he decides to go offline and at that time tell me he's going away with 'the lads' in may to cornwall for a week and that he'll talk to me about it tomorrow, thanks for dropping that on me without giving me a chance to even talk to him about it!
im mainly upset because his dad took him away for 2 weeks in october, and my boyfriend knew how upset and left out i felt about that, and now he's just doing it again, i also feel upset cos he is my top priority, i'd never arrange something like that behind his back, and i feel like he just wants to see me when it suits him.. so im supposed to see him tomorrow, dont want to, but i want to talk about this holiday thing, and he gets to go away with his friends all the time cos they work away during week, they work during the day - but mess aroun too, and then go out and have fun in the evenings.. anyway tomorrow i was thinking of saying
"go away with your friends then, even though you go away with them all the time, and leave me out again just like october, and we wont go to australia cos i'll book a holiday with my friends, cos im obviously not your top priority like you are to me, cos id never arrange something like that behind your back"
cant believe he'd be so selfish to me, it's like i've realised what his priorities are, and i'm not even one, im just an option. i feel like i'm his friend or a mum or something. he once said to me "youre my top priority over everything" - bollocks! and ive spoken to my guy friend about this to get a guys perspective and he doesnt think im being unreasonable, and he said "i saw you cry in college over him when he went away in october cos of how much you missed him, for him to do that again is out of order"
