For about 2 weeks now my boyfriend has been complaining about a horrible pain at the base of his neck. It is at the base of his head under his skull. He just recently started saying it feels like something is scratching, gnawing, or hitting his brain. The pain never goes away but subsides when he applies VERY HARD pressure. He says the only thing that would make the pain go away would be to hit him in the head with a hammer. The pain is getting worse and worse every day. He is in tears and he is generally pretty strong. We are growing INCREDIBLY worried and scared, please help?!?!?!
The thing is, he won't go to the doctor. I told him it could be a brain tumor or something serious. My aunt had one so I am terrified of him getting one, but he refuses to go. Suggestions? Thank you.
