Boy drama plz help!!?

Ok so like I go to a school with 56 kids in the whole middle school and so I got asked out twice with pretty good looking guys but they each only lasted about 4 hours then I found out this other guy likes me so we were on hotmail n we were texting n he asked me out well like at school the next day it was just awkward so I sent him a note n said can we b friends n yup haven't talked since I've never broken up with a guy before n I hate wen peopl break up with me it puts me down n makes me feel bad well I didn't just break up with him just to say I dAted him but I dated him because I Thot I liked him n I don't my friends all said it was because it was early so it's gonna b awkward but idk what should I do
