Was wondering if anyone else had seen this?

I watched it today and I was completely blown away by it, such a powerful and emotional film.

In case anyone hasn't heard of it, it's about a young man released from prison after being in there since he was a young child, for murder. I felt it echoed a well-known british case and if I am honest, before I watched this film I held strong views about what should happen to people who have committed such awful crimes when they were younger. Yes, I know it is only a movie, but it has really made me see it from a different perspective.

I would really recommend this movie, I thought it was fantastic.

Yes, I watched it when it first aired on C4 a while back. Thought it was absolutely brilliant and thought provoking.

I saw it as more of a television drama rather than a movie......

It's a fantastic piece of drama mostly because it challenges your believes. On the one hand you feel for Jack while on the other you don't for what he did.

Very good. The lead actor won a BAFTA for his role.

The lead actor was gorgeous, and did emotional scenes really well.

I couldn't think of anyone more suitable to portray Jack.

Andrew Garfield is a rising star in the making. Quite under rated!

I thought it was brilliant, only I was never clear if it was Jack's nightmare or if the other boy did actually get hanged by the boys in the jail.

i think the lead actor (can't remember his name) was the student in the robert redford scenes in 'lions for lambs'
