Box pops up in Literati that the other person won, game was not over?

I just played someone in Yahoo Literati. I was the person who opened the game, there was no timer and no challenge words. We played for a bit and the score was 67 (myself) to 63. Next thing I know a box popped up and said the other person won.

How does this happen? It happened to me a few times.
