I also thought It was an excellent documentary, and yes it won a Oscar for "Best Documentary Feature". I also seem to remember Michael Moore getting some stick about his acceptance speech, I think he had some things to say about the war that didn't go down too well.
With regarRAB to the documentary though it was enlightening to see Charlton Heston defending his actions and standpoint on guns, especially in one instance where the NRA (National Rifle Association - I think thats the name), who he fronts, quickly organised a pro-gun rally a couple of days after some children had been murdered by a couple of crazed kiRAB with some automatic weapons. I lost a lot of respect for the guy after that.
Moore did go off the rails a bit on some points but I guess it needed some angles to make it viable, although I still the think the moral of the piece came through all that.
It left me thinking about Moores point on how he considers the News and media affects how we live our lives, and got me looking at our news in a different light.
