I got a fishing kit at Cabelas a few weeks ago and today it was pretty nice out so I went out to a nearby creek and shot into once or twice but not at full draw. It worked good. But then I shot it at full draw at 50 lbs and the arrow strung out and broke off went off with current and the string slightly hit my arm.
Could it be that it wasn't knotted good or perhaps i had the string on right side of arm even though i do not think so.
Also is it ok that it had a little bit of slack when you pull back or does string have to be about same length as draw length?
Now I do not have a fishing arrow
