I want to act quickly since I'm pretty certain beyond a reasonable doubt
that the item I bought is fake
and I know two phone numbers to reach the person.
It is a crime to sell counterfeit items,
and I know to some degree that it is very serious.
The person claimed so much to have bought it from an official louis vuitton store,
and it said so on their ad as well. He put up a really good show, honestly.
We spent 30 whole minutes of me just examining the item,
and if my boyfriend hadn't been there distracting me and upsetting me
I really probably wouldn't have bought the item. But he kept making me upset
the whole time clouding my judgment and making me nervous
and so I started to feel rushed on time to make a decision and bought it anyway.
but when I went home to compare the real item with
authentic items on the web, I realized that the item I received
actually is different from the item posted on the ad.
There are small discrepancies, but the discrepancies are what make the item "fake or real"
Luckily I only spent about $300 on the item.
But it's still $300. And I was still scammed.
I don't want to let this person get away with scamming me.
Or anyone else. And if at all possible, I want my money back too
and not this piece of sh** they gave me!
Can I criminally charge this person?
I know it sounds so ridiculous to even call in 911 to report
a case like this. It wouldn't be one of their main priorities among
the many other "real emergencies" ... but I'd like to know
what power I have in this situation, what can I do?
I want to make sure that I can still get a hold of them
while I still have the two phone #s of the guy & they should be valid!
