Homebuyer Credit? I bought a duplex (160k) alone. I did it before the deadline. I sold a 50% interest to my GF the next day. I live in one side with roommates, she in the other,alone. Since each side is worth a least 80k, we should be able to both claim and get the First-Time Homebuyer Credit of 8k. Right?
