Yesterday, I set up my tank and got everything I needed for a tropical fish tank. 24-hours later, i bought 5 neon tetras and 5 guppies. 3 hours later, the tetras are dead. I now know I needed to have cycled the tank. I got it. You dont need to repeat it. I GET it.
Now, all but one guppie is acting fine. One guppie has been floating at the top and breathing out of the water. The rest are swimming and active and fine.
If I do a 20% water change everyday, will they survive?? I just now did a 20% water change now. I am not taking these guppies back, because I believe you dont have to do a 6 week tank cycle for them to live, I have never met someone who has had to.
So my question, if I do a 20% water change daily for the next couple weeks, will my guppies live??
