files. What is it? I'm running an imac in bootcamp with windows 7, and took a look at my C drive tonight as I was cleaning up, and noticed a new folder called fxr'dvj7 ruBw5Iw+V . Then, there's almost 500 files in it, all with the same kindof name (examples: ! YVpfFeh3Y2R43ebO and (-_97tV(ox_QadBeIe all the way down). Each of those approx 500 files is EXACTLY the same size, namely 221,184 KB. WHAT IS THIS?? THANKS if you've seen this before and you know. Just a total guess from me: looks almost like some encrypted backup but I'm afraid to open any of those 500 files. Total about 103GB. They were all taken yesterday between 6:13am and 7:09am. I feel stupid because seems like a backup. But I have my WindowsImageBackup (the built-in tool in Win 7) backups going to a different drive and those files have totally dissimlar filenames (but similar to each other of course, names like b85bd20a-67c4-4e55-9927-222ede5fc134_Writere8132975-6f93-4464-a53e-1050253ae220).
I might have (was confused for sure) tried the "CREATE A SYSTEM IMAGE" yesterday as I was learning all the various win7 built in backup type of tools available, and maybe chose the wrong drive to put it on, but...even then, it doesn't allow to save to the Bootcamp (C
drive, so that couldn't have been it. Anyway, hoping someone out there will know for sure. thanks a lot.
