boot camp graduation and a-school?

(i keep asking questions about this, sorry, i have many concerning it.) my boyfriend's graduation is on december 30. some people have said that the navy gets like leave during Christmas. would he get to leave like before his graduation (like the week of Christmas) or is it just another week for them? and if he is going to a-school in great lakes, will he just get like the few days of liberty as usual or will he get leave (people have said that the a school doesnt reopen until january 3, some have said january11). i just dont know what people have said is true or not, and i'd really like to know how much time we'd get with him. and for some reason, his graduation is on a wednesday? (it says so on the navy graduation website) so will he get the normal 2 days of liberty like he would if it were a weekend? im sorry, i know these are hard questions, but a little help would be nice.
 
What usually happens (It did for my cousin) is that they get Christmas Day off. Many were hosted for dinner with local Chicago area families.

NTCC Great Lakes, where his "A" School is located, is about 1/4 mile down the street from RTC Great Lakes which is were boot camp is located.

On his orders there will be a "Class Convening Date." That is the date his "A" School will start. If it's the 13th of January he might be offered a chance to take leave. If it's the 3rd of January he will go right down the road to "A" School, check-in, and wait for school to start.

The ONLY person who can answer your questions fully is your boyfriend.
 
I'm sorry, but after the 3rd or 4th "like", I quit reading and just started to count how many times you said "like".
