Boot Camp gone wrong!! Windows wont work?

I treid to install windows onto my macbook and after the installation al it brought was a black screen that said "disc error". Now everytime i want to restart or boot up my computer it takes me back to that screen. I have to hold down the "option" key to get it back to OS X. PLease help i just bought this computer yesturday and this really sucks
IT's windows xp professional. I bought it at best buy
 
well, my guess is that there's an error with your disc.

is it illegal or old? Boot Camp doesn't usually screw up like that.
