My question is, why did you pick the US Marines for Military service?
The Marine Corps is strictly for the Warrior heart/mind and spirited, not the weak with doubts of any sort.
If you have fears of RT (Recruit Training aka BootCamp) and dropping out because of it strictness in training. Then the USMC is obliviously not the service branch for you. As US Marines we go through nearly 6 months of training, being if you are MOS of INF which is 03xx.
Words of advice? Do your research, ask yourself, "Why am I willing to become a US Marine?" What are your goals? What are your true intentions with the Marines?
The USMC training and title is not something to be taken lighten or up for impression takes or dishonorable reasons.
Many US Marines have died before you and I ever got the chance to even consider the Marine Corps and its principles it instills.
Our Training is 3 months, SOI or MCT is another 2 to 3 months, depending on you/MOS.
Every Marine is a Riflemen(women) before given MOS and must qualify as a Marksmen(women) to even graduate with the title as a US Marine.
This is not all that comes with the territory, there is a lot more.
And those are somethings I cannot simply explain to you unless you are one of us.
