boost mobile sim cards?

well, I want to get boost mobile but their phones suck so I wanted to know if I could get a really cool sprint or verizon phone in case of no sim card or a cool ATT or T-mobile phone if boost mobile uses sim cards so i wanted to know if those are even possibilities so thanx for your help
